Today in celebration of Valentine's Day, three of my Kindergarten classes created Valen-Slime (Thanks to Mama Papa Bubba Blog for the idea). We watched as the slime took form, observed with our senses, and then each student got to take some Valen-Slime home!
Valen-Slime Recipe (Makes about 20 fist-size servings)

- Put 3 cups of white glue into a bowl
- Pour 2 1/4 cups hot water over glue and add the food coloring of your choice
- Stir!
- In a separate container, mix together 1 1/2 cups hot water and 3 1/2 tablespoons of Borax.
- Stir until the Borax is dissolved.

- Pour the Borax mixture into the glue mixture, stirring as you pour.

- Knead the Valen-slime until it is soft and stretchy.
