This week Kindergarten learned the difference between things we need and things we want. We read the book The Bag I'm Taking to Grandma's and discussed what our basic needs were versus the things that are just nice to have.
Here is an example of a Kindergarten student's Needs vs. Wants book. Each student came up with two examples for wants. Kindergarten also completed an assessment for this unit, sorting pictures for Needs and Wants into a T-chart.
